I wanted to share a thought that comes up a lot in my coaching sessions, and it's something we all need to be reminded of: simple does not mean easy.
It's really common for smart, driven people like us to dismiss powerful, simple strategies. We look at a technique like the 'Brain Dump' or the 2-Minute Rule and think, "That's it? That's too simple to work."
We do this because we've been conditioned to believe that for a result to be "epic," the process has to be complex and difficult.
But the real work, the hard part, isn't in knowing the simple strategy. The hard part is the discipline to actually do it, consistently, especially when you don't feel like it.
Running for 20 minutes is simple. But doing it three times a week when you're tired and busy? That isn't easy.
Meditating for 5 minutes is simple. But sitting down to actually do it when your mind is racing? That isn't easy.
This is the work we do here. We take simple, proven strategies and support each other in the "not easy" part: the consistent application that creates a lifetime of results.
My question for you today is:
What is one "simple, but not easy" practice that you are committed to this week?
